Returns & Exchanges
At Portola Paints, we strive for perfection in every gallon; however, due to the custom nature of our artisanal finishes, we offer a structured return process for unopened specialty items and tools. Please note that custom-tinted paint colors are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Verify Eligibility
Ensure your items are unopened, in original packaging, and purchased within the last 30 days. Custom-mixed colors and tinted primers are excluded from returns.
Request Authorization
Contact our support team with your order number to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the appropriate return shipping address.
Pack and Ship
Securely package your items to prevent leaking during transit and clearly mark the RMA number on the exterior of the box before shipping via a tracked carrier.
Processing and Refund
Once our warehouse inspects the returned goods, we will issue a refund to your original payment method, minus a 15% restocking fee for specialty coatings.
